Motorola Q is touted as the “thinnest QWERTY device in the world.” What’s more it provides a call quality hard to surpass. It also has an exceptional multimedia experience. It has almost all the tools to keep those on the business end extremely productive. What more with the Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone Edition, its great e-mail support and the super-fast web browsing thru EV-DO.

With its shiny and lustrous design, the Motorola Q’s form factor is its ultimate attraction factor. Its design was drawn from the Motorola Razr V3. Well it measures 4.57 by 2.52 by 0.47 inches, thinner than the Motorola Razr V3 itself. No problem when sliding it down to your pants or shirt or even inside the ladies wallet. No need for a large space. This Motorola Cell Phone feels great in your hands.

Wow! What about the screen? With the 320×240-pixel resolution and exhibiting 65,536 hues, the Motorola Q screen is awesome. Its screen output is easily comprehensible even in direct sunlight.

Customizing the screen with the various preinstalled background images is not a problem; you can even have your own background image uploaded. You can easily change the theme, backlight time and even the size of the font.

Motorola Q however has some points to consider. It does not have a touch screen and you would take a bit of time to adjust with its display’s landscape. If you need to surf the web, you have to scroll more often. This is also true when viewing your documents. But after a small number of tries, you get used to it. Also, you have to install a protective casing as some carriers are not providing it. The backlighting is not bright and is not good when you are working in a dark place.

The QWERTY keyboard? The keys seem to feel hard, so they are easily palpable. Compared with the Treo keyboard, this Motorola Cell Phone has a roomy layout. A camera and a speakerphone-activation button are just right into the bottom-right side (right of the spacebar).
